The map below is in three parts and each part has it's own listing of stops made by the raiders in 1864.  A more comprehensive map is in the process of being drawn up & will hopefully be on this site before the end of 2007.

The following is a listing of each of the stops made by the raiders, what was taken at the stop and corresponds with the number on the maps:

Map 1

1.  John Brumley home--7 copper pennies & smashed John's rifle.

2.  Mr. Gustin--undetermined amount of money & rifle

3.  William Downing--money, broke his rifle & took him prisoner.

4.  John Heckethier--no money found

5.  Thomas Miller--$110

6.  Chris Wagler--smashed rifle

7.  Henry Blough--25 pennies, some silver coins & pocket knife

8.  William Power--broke rifle, took William & son Wallace prisoner

9.  David Baughman--broke rifle & stole apples

10. Perry Brown--broke gun

11. William Millsap--nothing taken

12. Christen Reese--broke gun, $26

13. Daniel Swartzendruver--$15 & cakes wife was taking to the county fair

14.  Jacob King--$150, two watches & jewelry

15.  Jeremiah Miller--$12, broke rifle

16.  Mr. Rogers--$40

17.  James Paris--Shotgun, revolver,  watch & horse

18.  William Sterritt--nothing taken

19.  Frank French--broke gun, Union uniform items

20.  L.D. Hotchkiss--broke gun

21.  Morris McCracken--$80, broke rifle

22.  Andrew Haney--nothing taken

23.  Thomas Hardy--$400 & killed Hardy

25.  Captain Philip Bence--$850, taken prisoner & killed that night

26.  David Sanderson--taken prisoner

27.  William Hill--taken prisoner

28.  Andrew Tannehill--taken prisoner

30.  Frank Dabney--horses

31.  William Losey--rifle, $64 & taken prisoner

32.  William Nibleck--saber, uniform, $30

33.  Union Church--Captain Bence killed near here
